In the spirit of Halloween, I wanted to share with you some recent "projects" I worked on:
Residential Bathroom: For this client, he had started a red "sponge-painting" project in the bathroom but you could tell that he had never quite mastered the technique. Red splotches were
everywhere - even in the shower stall (which everyone knows is a

decorating no-no). I was able to educate him on the use of a better faux finish which would stand the test of time and selected a much less aggressive color than than red. It did take some time to remove the "red splotches", but all in all, the client was very happy that there was no evidence remaining of his original handy-work.
Commercial Hotel: Using my "soft" commercial project experience, I was able to meet the design needs of the hotel manager as well

as his split personality. I incorporated a red bedroom into the design, which the manager's son seemed adamant in having as he kept chanting "red rum, red rum, red rum" over and over again. I did counsel him on the aggressive emotions red can conjure up, but he was insistent, and I always like a happy client.
All in all, it has been a very fun year helping clients envision their dreams by streamlining the process and solving design dilemmas!
