As you settle in to enjoy the holidays, remember to take time for yourself, for a special person in your life, and for those in the world who are less fortunate than we are. In your honor, I have made a donation to Samaritan's Purse in order to rescue children around the world from bondage and slavery. Happy Holidays!
Every day, thousands of children fall victim to
exploitation, oppression, and even slavery. Some
are kidnapped from their homes and forced to
serve as soldiers. Others are handed over to human
traffickers by poor parents who believe the false
promises of a better life for the child. Girls and
boys, many as young as five, can be found working
in mines, sweatshops, industrial farms, and places
far worse. To combat this evil, Samaritan's Purse
supports Christ-centered programs that help protect,
rescue, and rehabilitate vulnerable children.
