quality." It strives to create "objects with a clear thought, created to achieve long lasting
everyday use and inspiration". Owning these high quality pieces will reduce the need to replace them over time. The company's functional products are all about multipurposing and combinability - two great words to remember when you are trying to make the most of your design dollar.
A series of glass blown birds designed by Oiva Toikka is probably iittala's most well-known representation of great design. New Taika dinnerware has also been very popular. This pattern works well with traditional and contemporary interiors, and blue is a great fresh and clean color to use for summer entertaining.
